Where to Eat in Verbier

October 5, 2017

Verbier has a huge variety of restaurants to chose from.  Skiers usually opt for a lunch at restaurants or cafes up in the mountains but there are loads of places in town that are just as delicious, and some even have a great view.  As for dinner, the options are endless.

Slope-Side Lunches

La Vache: This converted lift station is a comfy and cozy restaurant with a large outdoor terrace that features some of the most incredible mountain views.

L’Olympique: This alpine restaurant is located directly at the top of a ski lift so it can be accessed by both skiers and non-skiers.  It is decked out in memorabilia from previous winter Olympic games and there is an option for an a-la-carte menu or self -service dining.

Carrefour: This restaurant is located on the slopes but can still be accessed via car or bus due to it’s low elevation.  It is a firm favourite among Verbier locals, regular tourists, and famous celebrities.

In-Town Dinners

La Marlénaz: This traditional swiss and international cuisine restaurant is said to serve some of the best fondue in town.  The thing that makes this place stand out from the rest is that in order to get there, you must take the snow mobile taxi up the mountain and then, after dinner, sled back down into town.

La Channe: This trendy restaurant in Place Centrale serves delicious raclette and fondue in an elegant and rustic atmosphere.  Reservations are definitely recommended, especially on weekend nights.

Borsalino: This pizzeria is a more laid back option that will not disappoint!
