Après-Ski in VerbierOctober 2, 2017
Verbier is home to world-class alpine nightlife. Whether it’s après ski pubs, after dinner cocktails, or late night dancing in one of the many night clubs, the party usually never stops in these mountains…
Mountain side après usually takes place from 3pm-5pm. Off slope parties usually go from 6pm-9pm daily.
Le Mouton Noir : This restaurant is located just off the first ski lift giving it an ideal location for both the non-skier and the keen skier. There is both an a-la-carte menu and a self-service option for food. On busy days, there is a DJ and dancers in front of the epic views, making it known as the “Folie Douce” of Verbier.
Ice-Cube : Just under Mouton Noir, this place attracts more locals than tourists. It is a more relaxed vibe than Mouton Noir but still has an incredible view, great snacks, and awesome music. Après ski starts here at 3pm daily.
Carlsberg : The terrace here is perfect to stop for a drink on a good day or bad day. The views are worth it and the beers just keep on coming.
Farinet : This is the only venue in Verbier that showcases live bands every day of the ski season. The party usually starts around 6pm and goes on until about 9. It’s livele almost everyday and tends to get pretty rowdy. This is a favourite amongst most Verbier regulars.
Off Piste Après Ski Bar : For a more chilled out après, the W hotel offers après ski just at the bottom of the ski slope in it’s backyard. There is a tented bar with heaters to enjoy a glass of vin chaud or their famous ‘hottie totties.’ There are also firepits and a DJ spinning upbeat tunes.
Le Rouge : This is the most rowdy place for après. The party gets going around 6pm and usually goes on late till around 9 or 10. There is a large terrace where a DJ spins. When it’s light, there is a nice view to enjoy, but when it gets dark, they lift the tents with heaters to keep partiers warm in the winter chill. Be prepared to get sprayed with champagne!
All nightclubs in Verbier are open from 11pm-4am.
South at Farinet : Industrial-style underground nightclub that can get quite “ravey” depending on what DJ they have spinning.
Carve at W Hotel : This is new nightclub underground at the W is getting more and more popular due to it’s upmarket cocktails and mixed International and Swiss clientele.
L’Etoile : Upmarket, classy nightclub with a European vibe. Lots of bottle service and champagne showers.
Farm Club : This is the best clubs in Verbs and it’s where things get the messiest. It’s great fun and patrons are encouraged to get sloppy.
