The Best Dinners in Courchevel 1850

May 6, 2018

Courchevel is probably the most lively and glamorous ski resort in the world.  With it’s Michelin-star restaurants, glitzy slope side bars, and skiing that’s geared toward every skill-level, it has earned it’s right to be called the best.  There’s over 70 restaurants in all of Courchevel so here is just a little snippet of my favourite restaurants in town for dinner.

Best for a Chilled Evening

La Fromagerie: This candlelit restaurant with a log-fire serves the best fondue and raclette in town.

La Saulire: Located in the center of town, this restaurant is open all year round.  There’s a terrace for outdoor lunches and a chalet-style dining room for warm winter dinners.

Mamma Mia: Cozy new restaurant that serves classic Italian dishes including delicious wood oven pizza.

Best for a Partayyyy

Le Mangeoire: This restaurant and piano bar is one of the most popular places to eat in 1850.  Live music accompanies dinner and after midnight a DJ kicks things off and dancing on your tables becomes encouraged.

Le Bal: This pizza-focused restaurant is smaller than Le Mangeoire but definitely upholds the party atmosphere every night of the week.

L’Aventure: This rustic restaurant is my favourite of all!  There are regular theme nights and parties making it a popular place to go for drinks even if you’re not dining.
